Durwood Clark Lehrmann

Durwood Lehrmann, age 80 of Seabrook, Texas passed away September 12, 2017. He was born in Marlin, Texas on January 9, 1937 to Fredrick Brenner Lehrmann and Elsa Anna Otto Lehrmann. He was married to LaNelle Ruth Wallace Lehrmann for 58 years. He attended Riesel High School and was a school teacher for Sam Rayburn High School as an Ag and Shop teacher. Durwood was CEO and Cathodic Sales - Brance-Krachy Co., Inc., He was a member of FFA, Pasadena Rodeo Association, and NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers). He had a passion for farm work which would include mowing, bird feeding, and animal watching. He loved hummingbirds and his Houston Astros, and was very devoted to his church, St. Paul's Episcopal.

He was proceeded in death by: Fredrick B. Lehrmann (father), Elsie Anna Otto Lehrmann (mother), Terry Allen Lehrmann (brother), Clark Allen Lehrmann (son), Lionel James Wallace (father-in-law), and Fannie Kate Rothwell Wallace (mother-in-law).

He is survived by: LaNelle Ruth Wallace Lehrmann (wife), Leslie James Lehrmann (son) and his wife Michelle Allain, and LaNeese Kaye Lehrmann Gareri (daughter); grandchildren: Taylor James Lehrmann, Clark Lee Lehrmann, Teagan Mary Lehrmann, Victoria Richelle Lehrmann, Lacey Alyse Lehrmann, Nicole Grace Lehrmann, Nathan John Gareri, Kyle Braden Gareri, Jason Ellis Gareri, and Justin Miles Gareri.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 7843 Park Place Blvd, Houston, Texas 77087 with funeral service to follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
