

He was born in Farmington, Missouri on May 14, 1960 to Virginia and Edward Kennedy Sr. He grew up in Mill Creek, Missouri where he developed his love for cars through racing and working at the family auto shop driving wreckers. He was a graduate of Fredericktown High School in 1979.
He moved to Texas in 1980 where he met his wife of 39 years, Pam Kennedy. They were married on April 28, 1984 at Second Baptist Church in Pasadena, Texas. They were blessed with one son, Joseph Kennedy, in 1989. He passed on his love of racing to his son where they spent many weekends building and racing together as a family.
Ed was a gifted mechanic, a business owner, a heavy truck operator, had a faceted career in the industrial industry, and most recently a warehouse foreman with PSC. He was well known for his love of cars and the outdoors. He was a skilled craftsman who loved welding, woodworking, and gunsmithing. He was known for his determination and was affectionately known as "Bull" to most.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward Lee Sr. and Virginia Kennedy. He is survived by his wife. Pam Kennedy; his son, Joseph Kennedy and wife Kristen grandson Anthony Kennedy; his siblings Scott Kennedy and wife Cindy; Renae Kennedy Ely and daughter Faith; and Aaron Kennedy and wife Anna; many nieces and nephews, and friends.
Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of life for Ed on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 7pm. Visitation will begin at 6 pm. Services will be held at: Forest Park East Funeral Home 21620 Gulf Fwy Webster, Texas 77598
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Ed's memory to MD Anderson Cancer Center at gifts.mdanderson.org.
