Elaine Ann Jones, 70, of Pearland, Texas passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018. She was born in Galveston on November 16, 1947 to James and Louise Durst. She was married to Clyde (Sonny) Jones for 26 years. Elaine had a career in tax preparation for Elaine Jones Tax & Bookkeeping.
She was a member of Sagemont Baptist Church & Choir and had a passion for sharing the Lord with others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Durst and her former son-in-law, Buddy Kantowski.
She is survived by her spouse, Clyde (Sonny) Jones, 3 kids - Kay, Kenny, & Kevin, 3 step kids – Kellie, Leigh Ann, & Warren, sons and daughter-in-law - Mat, Daniel, Brett, & Jodee, 8 terrific grandkids, 1 brother & 3 sisters, and “Snookums” her sweet Schnauzer.
A Memorial Celebration of Elaine’s life will be held Saturday, March 3 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home located at 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598.
