Hey there you, so here we are again with summer right around the corner and I'll go to the beach and remember how we crammed a whole day at the beach in only a few hours. I miss getting random phone calls from you in the middle of the night, I miss you every time I go to the beach, pass by Frankie flava or even la Blanca rd.  I just miss knowing you're on this earth.

Elyse misses you so much. We went to Paris this year and she picked out a souvenir with your name on it. She posted it up on her wall. You'd be so proud of the young lady she's becoming. She's still in soccer. We miss seeing you and Abel at her games. 

Still think about you everyday. Miss you dearly.

Lichaaaaaaa i sometimes send you snaps and everytime i fo to the beach i think of you. Always enjoying what life had to offer even if your body could only take small increments a time. You are thought of and missed.

I miss you everyday. A year has passed now and it hurts me deeply that we can’t have our Double Birthday Party 5/21 and 5/22 anymore. Definitely had some great times...

I will always remember, honor, and treasure those festive days. I will always wear the Emerald Cross from Vatican City as it’s pair rests with you.

PS: Faye and I will continue to take Skeeter on Sunrise walks at Galveston Beach. She really loves it...

Looking back at pics and remembering how much fun we had.

I’ve probably started this post 100 times in my head... but there was never the right words to express a grief so deep. I’ve known you all my life, since birth you were the big cousin that always watched over us. The Fantastic 4. Always us 4. Primas. Sisters. Some of the best memories I cherish in this lifetime is because you were in them. Today we are burying you, and as much as this hurts I know you’re okay now. I love you Prima, and I’ll be missing you everyday that your gone. - Love always Long Legs 💔

I remember all the times we would break dance in your mom's garage with big head Joey..well trying at least ..I wish life wouldn't be so fast and would allow us to embrace our families correctly ...may the stars be in your view and the pain behind you. I love you cuz so much 

Family like branches on a tree, we all grow in different directions, yet our roots remain as one. Family is forever, where life begins and love never ends. The love of family is one of life’s greatest blessings, and I’m truly blessed to have you as my cousin. Licha, I love you so much and you will be forever missed, but never forgotten. Now that God is resting your soul, I am happy you can be at peace with him.

You were my closest friend during our time in TX. I am so thankful that Abel was assigned to be Justin's foreman and we met. I first met you at Spanky's Pizza! And that was the start of many more pizza lunch dates. It was only 3 short years that we lived close, but we made many great memories in that time. Birthdays together,  you always made them special for everyone. You, Abel, AJ and Jason (and Skeeter!) were our home away from home. We have missed you all tremendously since moving away! Your great love for your family was always evident and you gave great Mama advice when we had our first. We have been so richly blessed for having known you. Miss your kind and sassy soul with each day that passes - Can't wait to see your beautiful smile again in heaven! Xoxo

You were always on task sweetheart.  This was only the beginning of your very many achievements in life.  It was the highest honor and a pleasure serving you as your mommy/mama & mom.

Elizabeth Marie Carrillo-Marez as a baby. We joked that she was born with a phone in her hand. She was definitely a Social Butterfly 🦋.

Beautiful niece, no question. In the flesh and in the spirit.  During her senior year, I am happy she lived with my family for a while. Taking them to school (Joey and Jessica, too) was a gift to me from the Lord.  Making breakfast tacos for them too.  The day Elizabeth forgot her belt for her school uniform and called me to bring it to her....I still laugh....visiting with her recently in her beautiful home and sharing time with her at the hospital was simply a blessing and a gift to me from our Lord Jesus Christ; plus knowing she married a great man in Able Mares, that is a gift to me too.  Meeting with her sons and having breakfast with her father recently, was another blessing to both Uncle Roger and I.  Thank you, miha, for sharing some of  your final life with us. I believe the Lord blessed us all to come together before He took you home.   With love for you,  Aunt Dalia & Uncle Roger.   

Elizabeth was like a sister n law to me. She made me feel welcomed every time I was in her presence.  She was a tough chick that would never back down and a loving fun hearted person.   She enjoyed life especially with her family. She loved the heck out of Abel and the boys. She made it her mission to take care of them and they loved and cared for her in return. She will always be in our heart and I will never forget our time together. 

My deepest condolences to the Mares, Treviño, and Carrillo family.  Elizabeth was a phenomenal women and a great role model for young women.  She was beautiful inside and out.  Our family was heart broken to hear of her passing.  Rest In Peace sweet baby girl my sweet God Child.  Forever in our hearts.

Elizabeth was a one of a kind friend. She had a beautiful soul very humble and strong ! I will miss you . Love those time we had together.  Fun memories 😢  RIP! 

From the moment we met Elizabeth, she was family.  She bonded with my wife like they were related, and made us both feel welcome in her home.  She always had candy, even when she wasn’t supposed to.  The best thing was how she loved and took care of Abel and A. J.  In a short time she made a solid bond between them, her, and her son Jason, and made them a family.  I’ll never forget her for giving her time to my grandmother, even when Elizabeth was going through her own issues.  RIP Elizabeth, we miss you already.

A woman I looked up to when I first started at Barksdale. She was tough, independent, smart, and sweet. I really admired her. You will be truly missed in this world. RIP Elizabeth.

Exactly one year ago you were at my salon, no matter how sick you were you always had a smile!

Dearest cousin, I hate to say that the memories I have are few but I am grateful for them. I'm grateful for those times that we spent at your grandma's swimming in the canal and listening to you jecca and Joey tell your mama jokes. That time that we were at at Aunt Lala's and we pushed Adrian's car all the way down the driveway to go for a late-night cruise and you making fun of Joey's break dancing when we got back. But more recently you and I reconnecting at a time when another cousin was in the hospital and we just clicked once again.  You shared the story of how you found love again with Able and how crazy it was. I got to meet your sons share some good times at the beach I met more of my family had a couple of laughs at Frankie Flaves ate some bomb ass burgers for lunch and a great dinner at Stefano's before you left. I am completely heartbroken. I still can't believe I was just talking to you the day before. You were such a beautiful person inside and outside and you will continue to be a beautiful energy shining your light on all of us everyday. I miss you very much but I know our energy with cross paths again. 

Sweet cousin, I am so grateful for the opportunity I had to finally meet you. Although brief, it was a pleasure getting to know what an amazing and strong woman you grew up to become. I am so proud of you, dear cousin, knowing that you were a light in this world. 

Elizabeth, you were my teenage best friend. We have so many memories growing up. I can’t believe you’re gone. I’m sad I never made some time to visit you when you reached out. I was always so busy. That regret will live with me until we meet again. RIP beautiful soul. Your laugh & sass will be in my memories. My condolences to you family.

Elizabeth was one of the first couple of people I met at Barksdale. She was such a sweetheart and easily one of my favorite people there. My condolences and prayers for her and her family.

Elizabeth it’s hard to believe you are gone. You had a huge personality and a sense of humor that made everyone laugh with you. I remember you as a young airmen and you were one of the best and brightest who ever worked for me. My thoughts and condolences go out to Abel, the boys, and your entire family who loved you so much. Godspeed you got your Angel wings now.

Dear cousin, still finding it hard to process that you’ve left us. You were one of the bravest and most caring people  I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing. So fortunate I was able to spend some quality time with you last year. You were there when I needed you and always checked up on me. My heart aches as you will truly be missed. I am grateful for all of your advice! May you Rest In Peace beautiful cousin! 

My Lovely daughter, you almost arrived to my life two months, too early and you left me too many months, too soon.  Yet every memory of you is a joy to my aching heart.  And what is most comforting is seeing how you grew from a child to a young woman.  It's truly been an honor.  You always made me proud.  RIP sweetheart until we meet again. Love always, Mom

Elizabeth was one of the reasons the Air Force and Barksdale was so great.  Sassy, funny, and caring to no end.  Elizabeth you will be greatly missed.

Elizabeth it was an honor to have served our nation along side of you and a privilege to be able to call you my friend. You were one of the first people to greet me when I arrived at Barksdale and you were always watching out for us new troops. I love you, my friend!

Elizabeth it was an honor to have served with you. You were the perfect combination of no-nonsense and sharp wit mixed with sarcasm.  In reality you kept the "leadership" in line. Your work was always above reproach. You were never timid about speaking your mind. You always provided sage advice or at least an alternative view point. The new troops and some of the older troops would run their issues by you, and you managed to keep some of them out of hot water, not an easy task. I am sure you were the first person in the shop to make fun of my hands telling me "I ain't scared of you or your Hulk Hands".  You never missed the opportunity to keep it a running joke on my posts. 
My deepest condolences. This is very difficult to accept. All of you are in my prayers.


One of my favorite people ever. I will cherish our friendship always and forever. I will think of you when I'm watching murder shows and trashy reality shows. We were supposed to chase each other around the nursing home when we were old ladies. She loved Abel, her boys and Skeeter so much. I miss you too much already. Xoxo

Elizabeth was the 1st person I met at 2nd MUNS. She was sassy and sarcastic and treated me like a little brother. I've loved her ever since and I will miss her dearly. She was a wonderful person with a heart of gold. Goodbye Elizabeth, I love you!

She was a dedicated Wingman, Airman, and American. More importantly,  she was a kind ,loving young lady who inspired those around her to achieve at every level. She was blessing this world will sorely miss.

So sorry to hear about my little cousin passing. I'll always remember how easy she made it to babysit her, she was just THAT great of a kid! From the looks of these shared photos, it would seem she grew up to become a beautiful young lady. May she rest in peace in heaven...
