She was born in Houston, Texas, on April 22, 1954, to Bill and Evelyn Hardeman. She married Gary Moeller on February 14th, 1992. They shared 31 years together.
Most recently, Elizabeth had a career in pet sitting as the owner of Caring Carries Pet Sitting and then Team Paw-Some Pet Sitters. Even when she retired, she continued pet sitting and helping anyone she could.
She had a passion for anything regarding animals, crafts, and helping others. She and Gary often acted as foster parents for several local Pet Rescues, so the actual number of four-legged Fur Kids they got to come home to each evening always varied. They volunteered for Golden Beginnings Golden Retriever Rescue for over 12 years, and fostered for a Doxie rescue group, All Texas Dachshund Rescue, or ATDR.
She was preceded in death by her Parents; Bill and Evelyn Hardeman; Brother, Gene Hardeman; first Son, John Stepanski; and numerous Fur Babies/Dogs, including Dandee, Wendy, Chana, Dixy, Tangi, Betsy, Bevo, Freckles and Clinger.
She is survived by her Husband, Gary Moeller; Sister, Barbara Stepanski and her husband Mark; Brother, David Hardeman; Son, Joe Stepanski, Daughter-in-Law, Tara Stepanski, three grandchildren, Keirsten, Greyson, and Bryson; Son, Josh Stepanski; two surrogate daughters, Katie Cox and Danielle Kametz; and Fur Babies/Dogs, Boston and Dolly; and Granddog, Scout.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favorite pet rescue as well as donations to dog parks to honor our kind and giving Elizabeth.
