Emma E. Cisneroz

Emma Cisneroz, 85, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2016. She was a loving Christian, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was born in Poth, Texas on June 25, 1930 to Francisco and Carmen Escobedo. She was a member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church and had a passion for gardening, sewing and reading. Emma was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Elena, Regul, Pedro and Blas. She was survived by her siblings Lala, Panchita, Catarina and Mariano; her children Janie Luna, Luis Ochoa, Rosie Castillo and husband Ino, Arthur Ochoa and wife Stacy, Sarah Mares, Carol Ochoa and Gilbert Ochoa; grandchildren Alex Arrington, John Arrington, Sonia Ramos, Tara Garven, Jose Mares, Abel Mares, Lisa Bustamante, Nina Mares, Jonathan Ochoa, Michelle Alvarez, Jason Saiz, Elizabeth San Martino, Alexandra San Martino; great-grandchildren Sarah, Jesse, Thomas, Gabriel, Joseph, Michael, Ava, Abel, Jr.; and a host of other loving family and friends. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home. The Celebration of Emma’s Life will be held Friday, January 22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at with interment to immediately follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
