

A devoted man of faith, Tee was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church until 1990, when he accepted Christ and joined Hassadiah Christian Center (HCC) under the leadership of Pastor Taylor Archie Jr. He was a proud graduate of Ball High School, Class of 1973, in Galveston ISD.
In 2001, Tee married his longtime friend and love, Angelina Jackson. He dedicated 30 years of service as a sanitation operator for the City of Galveston before retiring in 2020. A die-hard Chicago Bears fan and passionate motorcycle enthusiast, Tee was known for his infectious humor, love for life, and ability to light up any room.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dorothy Wells, and his grandson, Chase Lundy.
Tee’s legacy lives on through his loving wife, Angelina Wells; his children Ashley Wells, Katashia Corpus (Dominique), Christopher Lundy (Javon), Ernest Wells Jr., and Cornelius Jackson (Ashley); and his cherished grandchildren Erin, Kiya, Krislyn, Treyvon, Courtney, Cierra, Alinah, Aniyah, Cash, Kaden, and Keshun (Raven). He is also survived by his brother, Daryl Wells, and sister, Pamala Jackson; nieces Kellie Smith, Rhonda Frank, Liz Wells, Vanessa Anderson, and Angie James; nephew Kevin Taylor; along with extended family members and a host of dear friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home in Webster, Texas, with a repass to follow.
Tee’s laughter, love, and legacy will forever be remembered by those who knew and cherished him.
