Gary Wayne Williams

Gary served in the U.S. Army,101st Airborne Division, from 1966-1968. Gary earned a Bronze Star and Purple Heart from serving in the Viet Nam War. He was proud that he served his country. He was married to Linda M. Williams for 26 years. He worked had a career in Plant Maintenance for IBM for 30 years. He was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Dickinson, Texas.

Gary had a passion for seafood, steaming, and sharing live crabs and shrimp. He loved road trips, playing Texas Hold Em on Monday night and Bingo on Wednesday’s with wife Linda and his community family at Chesapeake Bay Active Adult living in Seabrook, Texas. Gary loved his family, his service dog Hank and beloved wife Linda.

He was preceded in death by: parents Paul and Alliene williams, brother Thomas Williams, and his father and mother-in-law Howard and Grace Beshears.

He is survived by: devoted wife Linda M. Williams, daughters Christy and David and Jennifer. Grandchildren Taylor and Aaron. Brothers, Donald Williams and Paul Williams, brother and sister-in-law-Earl and Jean Beshears. Stepchildren, Todd and and Rhonda McDaniel, Rod and Melissa McDaniel, Heather and Jimmy Courville, grandchildren, Alli, Riley, Bryce, Brandon, Bailey, Michelle, Nick, Ashleigh, and David, and great-grandchildren Avery Jo, Chloe, and Rhyse.

A graveside service for Gary will occur Monday, November 8 at 2:15PM at Houston National Cemetery located at 10410 Veteran's Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038.
