Glenn Donovan Schaeffer, III, 61, of Santa Fe, Texas passed away July 9, 2024. He was born in Columbia, Tennessee on October 4, 1962 to Glenn Donovan Schaeffer, Jr. and Ruth Frances Schaeffer. He was married to Shirley Schaeffer for 37 years. Glenn retired as a financial advisor for Waddell & Reed.
His legacy was to live life to the fullest and enjoy every minute with loved ones. He was very giving to others, being so kind and patient, which came in handy when he was fishing, which he did quite often. Glenn loved spending time with Shirley and their girls, from traveling to cruising to just hanging out. He also found a passion in RC Planes and astrophotography.
He was preceded in death by his parents Glenn Donovan Schaeffer, Jr. and Ruth Frances Schaeffer.
He is survived by wife Shirley Schaeffer; children Rachel Lynn (Schaeffer) Anonsen and spouse Richard, Jeana Marie (Macaluso) Howard and spouse Darrin, Shannon Deanne (Macaluso) Wylie and spouse Jason; grandchildren Bayleigh Ellyse Wylie, Blake Ryan Howard, Madison Paige Howard, Chase Michael Wylie, and Haven Parker Anonsen; brother John Martin Schaeffer and spouse Sheila; niece Molly Schaeffer and nephew Mitchell Schaeffer.
Glenn's funeral will be on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 9:30 am with a visitation an hour prior and interment to follow. All services will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home and Cemetery, located at 21620 Gulf Freeway in Webster.
