Brittany,

I regret not knowing about this until just recently. I am extremely late in gaining knowledge of Greg's passing, but wanted to extend my condolences to both you and your family. I only met him on a rare occasion, but am glad that I had that opportunity. Again, I am sorry for your loss.

To the entire Crowe Family...we offer our heartfelt condolences to Linda and the kids...Mr & Mrs Crowe, Darla, Richard and his son Richard, and especially to my very best friend Mike Crowe, his wife Maureen and their daughter Shannon.... we share your grief and pray that you find solace in all that Gregg was while he was here with us....our best to you all.

As one of Greg's many friends, I will always have fond memories of our times together. He was always upbeat and happy. We shared many fun times and consoled each other in not so good times. He was an inspiration to me and I'm sure to many others. I won't say goodbye. Instead, I'll say "see you later my friend".

Today is just like every other day with one big exception.  Today, we start the process of saying goodbye to a dear loved one, a person who knew love and compassion for those around him.  Someone that through adversity and physical pain was able to smile and make sure everyone else feel somehow nothing was wrong.  Why was he like that you may ask?  Because he wanted everyone to enjoy each day because he knew how precious every minute was.
That was Gregg.  Always putting everyone else’s concerns and feelings above his.  He knew the only things that mattered in life were the people he loved, their happiness and well being.  He had a special relationship with his family that few men are able to enjoy.  Friends that he had not seen in years knew instantly that they had never been forgotten and were treated like part of the family.  I don’t know for sure but I’ll bet Gregg never met a stranger, or if he did they weren’t a stranger longer than hello.
Gregg was a teacher though he didn’t realize it.  He taught everyone that knew him how to love deeply, be passionate about life, courageous, strong, self sacrificing and simply put be the person every man, woman and child should be.  The world owes him so much and knows we have lost a most amazing person. 
 Now he is with our Holy Father looking down upon us with the same friendship, love and compassion we always received from him.  His memory will always let us know how blessed we were to know him.

Brittney and Gregg I did not get to know your dad, but I felt like I got to know a lot about him through knowing how wonderfull you two guys are. I know his passing is a great loss, but you must hold on to all the good memories as that is what fills life going forward and gives it meaning. Do not worry about things that might have been done differently or said, as our view of life is imperfect, and God fills in the holes we think we see to make it all perfect. Amy I know this has been difficult on many levels for you as a mom, former wife,and personally as it reminds us all of our humanity, but we all cross the great divide alone but with the presence of God who will sustain us both now and at our passing.

Dear Brittany and Gregory, I bestow upon you my wholehearted condolences. Your father may be physically gone, but there is a little of him in the... both of you, so he will continue to live on. He fought hard to remain with you as long as he could. He loved you sooooo much. (Amy, you still loved the father of your children--I bid you peace).
Linda, I know you are suffering greatly. But I wish you much peace and comfort today, tomorrow and into the future. I know you don't want to hear this from me, a mere acquaintance, but you will survive this. You will miss Greg and love him forever. From time-to-time, however, something or someone will bring him to mind. But there will not ever be anyone quite like your Greg in your future, that is for sure.
Greg's immediate and extended families--I know death to cancer, for I lost one of my younger sisters to leukemia; my father, to renal cancer. Cancer is a b*#$#! I offer all of you a virtual embrace. Find all the wonderful memories of Greg, keep them and share them--that will always keep Greg alive within you.

Mike, Maureen, and Shannon, Our prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time.  Hope wonderful memories help ease the pain.  Love Al and Joanie

Gregg the courage, stregnth, humor and love you shown everyone during the last year or so was an inspiration to all near and far.  You taught me so much and I pray I can live up to your example.  I love you little brother and will always keep you in my heart and memories.  

May God protect your soul so you may look upon His Glory.  May God give everyone that loved you the stregnth needed to wait till we all can be with you again.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

Gregg, mom and i thought the world of you cause you were such a sweetheart and what an inspiration you were....what an amazing attitude you had! You will be missed so much but we're happy that you are with the Lord and pain free! We love you and we will see each other again one day! I was proud to call you my cousin!

How I enjoyed Gregg and all the Crowe brothers and sister as we grew up together and transitioned in our lives, I have many, many fond memories of our times together.  I especially enjoyed watching sports with you and my brother and all the 'commentaries' that you two would make...ha! God Bless you Gregg, you fought the good fight little Bro'.  And my deepest, heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

My heart goes out to you Brittney and Greg and your mom, this is a sad sad time but God has a plan for your Dad and he will not suffer no more so think how he is living with God now but will be with you all in memory forever.  Love grandma ojala

Gregg, your spirit and love will remain with us until we see you again. I know you were greeted in Heaven by Mammaw, Pappaw and Jamie with open arms and laughter. I love you!

We will remember that beautiful, sweet, and kindness smile. Also, the jokes that you always tried to make others laugh and happy. I remember that last hug we share @ your living room, it's warm & loved.

Gregg you were an inspiration and loved by so many and I always admired you and all of your family. I know that you will suffer no more cousin as you are now with the Lord and our dear sweet grandparents please also know that you will be in our thoughts and hearts forever. Gregg is my sister Libbye's youngest child. Her baby, but such a man. He graced this earth with a smile, a sweet spirit and a love that was unending. You showed so many of us how to smile through adversity, to keep going strong. You showed a strength few know. I am so proud of you and so blessed to call you one of my wonderful nephews. We will miss you but will see you again. Until then, I'll just close my eyes and see that bright smile. I love you Gregg!

I will always remember that beautiful smile.  Also, those Saturday morning wrestling matches you, Mike & Richard would have after watching those fake wrestling shows.
