She was born in Jeju Island, South Korea on October 30, 1952 to Yang Hee Lee & Hung Sook Kim. She was married to Larry Joiner for 44 years. Helen had a career in Endodontics for her own Dental practice.
She was a member of Coastal Community Church and had passion for gardening, spending time with family, studying the Bible and telling friends and neighbors about Jesus.
Helen was preceded in death by Yang Hee Lee (father), Hung Sook Kim (mother), Jae Gwen Lee (brother), Jae Yuel Lee (brother).
She is survived by Larry Joiner (husband), Paul Joiner, Timothy Joiner (sons), Jaemin Kim (sister), Jae Woong Lee (brother), Leah JOiner, Kelli JOiner (daughters-in-law), Matthew Joiner, Levi Joiner (grandsons).
A Visitation for Helen will be held Sunday, September 17, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598.
A Graveside Service will occur Monday, September 18, 2023 at 8:30 AM at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Texas 77598.
A Memorial Service will occur Monday, September 18, 2023 at 10:00 AM, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Texas 77598, with a reception immediately following.
