He was President and Owner of Triad Marine and Industrial Supply, Inc. in Kemah, Texas.
Survived by his wife, Martha; his daughter Rebecca Ann Sinkule and husband, James of Plano, Texas; a brother, Stephen Cole Lambert and wife, Ruthie of Kemah, Texas; and a sister, Tina Lambert Miller and husband Rusty of League City. Preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Jean and Homer Lambert, Jr.
League City, Texas was home for Homer for over 30 years. He was a licensed pilot, an avid sailor and boater, loved to fish and enjoyed traveling.
Homer was in the United States Air Force and served for 8 years during the Vietnam War. He was stationed in Vietnam and Thailand. At the time of his discharge, he was a Staff Sergeant.
He was a member of Boating Trades Association of Metropolitan Houston (BTAMH) and United States Marine Safety Association (USMSA) and served in various official positions in both.
A memorial service is planned for Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 12:30 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas, in the Chapel.
