Jack William Kenney

Jack was six months old when the Kenney Family moved to Houston, TX. The family moved to the Sun Valley area, South Houston. Art, Jack’s father, leased an Exxon Service Station and was in business 21 years. During those years the four children, the Kenney boys, participated in sports; baseball and football.

When Jack was 12 his interests turned to playing drums. He took lessons for several years where he found his niche. The family moved to the Clear Lake area in 1971. Jack played drums with the Clear Lake High School Band and Classical Orchestra. He attended San Jacinto Junior College for 2 years and was drummer for their Jazz Band.

Jack worked as an Optical Lab/Sales Technician for 37 years. He was a professional employee and enjoyed serving the public and was an asset to the companies he worked for.

Jack is preceded in death by his father Arthur Kenney (2009) brother Kevin Kenney (2011) and brother James Kenney (2013). His mother is Eilene Kenney, brother Michael Kenney, nephew Gunner Kenney, his friend of 17 years Kevin Le and cousins in New Jersey. Jack was kind, generous, believer of the Catholic Faith, we miss his presence greatly. We believe we will see him again in the hereafter.

The church services are: the Rosary will be prayed at 10:30 A.M. and the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M., on Tuesday, December 1, 2020. Pastor, Rev. Wencil Pavlovsky will be the Celebrant at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 18223 Point Lookout Drive, Nassau Bay, TX 77058. Burial will follow at Forest Park East, Funeral Home & Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, TX 77598.

The Kenney Family wish Father Wencil, Deaon Scott Daniel, our family members in New Jersey, friends, and parishioners of St. Paul Catholic Church blessings, good health and happiness for their prayers, cards and monetary gifts. You came to our aid in our time of need and held us up.
