Born on September 24, 1942, Janice lived a full and loving life centered around family, simple joys, and the warmth she brought to everyone around her. Above all else, she treasured her role as a mother, pouring her heart into raising her three children and later delighting in her growing family as their beloved Nana.
She is survived by her children:
· Daughter Natalie Young and her husband Jim Young
· Son Tim Howell Jr. and his wife Lisa Webb
· Son Donny Howell and his wife Sherry Howell
Janice was the proud Nana of four grandchildren: Casey, Morgan, Brandon, and Carson, and blessed with four great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy.
A woman of many passions, Janice found happiness in the kitchen, where her love of cooking created countless cherished meals and memories. She had a beautiful eye for flowers, enjoyed watching sports (especially with family nearby), and treasured her shopping outings with her daughter Natalie. For many years she was an enthusiastic bowler in local leagues, and she could often be found on the golf course enjoying a relaxing round between tees.
When she wasn’t active, Janice loved to sit with her yarn and crochet beautiful afghans, which she gave as heartfelt gifts to family and friends. She also contributed her time and energy to the family business, always ready to lend a hand.
Though she accomplished much and touched many lives, Janice’s greatest pride and deepest fulfillment came from simply being a mom—nurturing, supporting, and loving her family with unwavering devotion.
Janice will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love, warmth, and quiet strength she brought into every life she touched. Rest in peace, dear Mom, Nana, and friend.
