Jennie was born on May 27, 1957 in Martins Ferry, Ohio the daughter of George and Jennie (Zelkowski) Barker. She married Gary B. Solak on May 17, 1980 and moved to the Galveston Bay area where she resided until her death on June 7, 2025.
Jennie lee is survived by loving husband Gary Solak, sisters Barbara (Barker) Springer and Mary Lou (Barker) Quinn. brother William Barker, nephews Bob Springer, Tim Quinn, Erin Quinn, Dave Leach, Jason Leach, Stewart Barker and Eugene Barker. Nieces Lisa Leach and Stormie (Barker) Kirsopp. Best friend Teri (Koller) She was preceded in death by her mother Jennie Barker, father George Barker, sister Georgia (Barker) Leach and brother Eugene Barker.
Jennie Lee was devoted to her family and friends. We will miss her beautiful smile and sense of humor. She will be in our hearts forever.
