He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, co-worker, neighbor and friend. Loyal and proudly dedicated to his country and an effective contributor and staunch supported of NASA’s space programs. Jerry won great admiration and respect by many and was a wonderful mentor. He was a Christian man of Lutheran faith and led a full and rewarding life. You will be sorely missed!

Survived by wife, Barbara J. (Seip) Kauffman, Brother Richard, Sister, Juanita, sons Randal A. Kauffman and David Kauffman, and Daughter Michelle (Munoz) Kauffman, 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by Father William, Mother Vivian, Sister, Nancy and married 1st wife, Patricia (Balderston) Kauffman, 1963 – deceased 1993. Married to 2nd wife and high school sweetheart, Barbara J. Seip.
