Joseph James Jack

Joseph James "JJ" Jack, 58, of League City, Texas, passed away June 26, 2016. He was born in Port Arthur, Texas on October 21, 1957 to Albert and Helen Jack. "JJ" was passionate about fire service and serving others. He served many years with the League City Volunteer Fire Department including time as a Lieutenant, Captain and member of the Honor Guard. His career also included the League City Fire Marshal's Office, Kemah Fire Department and Dickinson Fire Marshal's Office. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus #9310. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings; Tony, Ida and Paul. He is survived by his only son and daughter-in-law Jeremiah and Shaherah Jack of Dallas, granddaughter Jordyn ,a special friend Sheryl Knight and other relatives and friends. He also leaves to mourn an extended family of firefighters and police officers. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 1612 E Walker St, League City, TX 77573 with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with a funeral mass will follow on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church with interment to follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
