Joshua was a devoted husband, beloved son, cherished brother, caring uncle, loving nephew, much-loved cousin, and loyal friend. He was deeply loved by his aunts, uncles, and extended family. His kindness and warmth left a lasting impact on all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Israel and Sandy Zamora, and Edward and Joan Weinman, as well as his cousin, Jack Weinman, all of whom held a special place in his heart.
Joshua is survived by his beloved wife, Sarah Weinman, with whom he shared 18 years of love, companionship, and quiet devotion. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories, supporting each other through life’s joys and challenges. Joshua’s steady presence was a source of peace, strength, and joy to Sarah and their two beloved dogs, Luna and Lily, dearly loved members of the family who brought happiness, cheer, and warmth to every day.
He was the treasured son of Matthew and Angie Weinman, whose boundless love, guidance, and support shaped his life. Joshua cherished family traditions and joyfully celebrated important moments with his parents, reflecting the deep gratitude, affection, and devotion he always held for them.
Joshua shared an unbreakable bond with his sister, Jennifer Strickland. Their relationship was marked by genuine friendship, shared memories, and unconditional support. Jennifer and her husband, Cory Strickland, were blessed to have Joshua as a loving brother and brother-in-law. Joshua was also a proud and nurturing uncle to their three children, Savannah, Norah, and Leah. He delighted in spending time with his nieces, offering guidance, encouragement, and love.
He shared a special bond with his sister-in-law, Karah Robertson. Years ago, when she lived with Sarah and Joshua, he naturally took on a protective big brother role. They shared countless laughs and inside jokes, and he was always there to support his “little sister.”
Joshua enjoyed a long and fulfilling career in telecommunications before transitioning into new home sales, following in his father’s footsteps. He was admired for his dedication, professionalism, and integrity throughout his career.
Known for living life to the fullest and embracing every moment. Joshua had a remarkable gift for making friends everywhere he went, striking up conversations and connecting with everyone he met. Naturally funny, he brought laughter and joy wherever he was. His presence made every family gathering brighter and more memorable.
A passionate woodworker, he loved creating handmade pieces for his loved ones and was always eager to help others, whether fixing something at home or lending a hand to those in need. He was also the family’s go to tech expert, patiently helping everyone navigate their phones, computers, TVs, and other devices. Joshua had a deep love for music and creativity, enjoying playing the guitar and piano, drawing, dancing, and expressing himself through art. He had a profound love for all animals, big and small, extending the same compassion to them that he showed to everyone he met.
Defined by generosity, integrity, and a gentle spirit, he faced life’s challenges with resilience and optimism. His legacy lives on through the love, kindness, and strong bonds he nurtured within his family and friends.
As we grieve the loss of Joshua, taken far too soon, we also celebrate the beautiful life he lived and the countless ways he made the world a better place.
