Judy Faye Ragland was born on June 7, 1959, in Snyder, TX, to V.L. Buchanan and Joyce Kellner. Judy was one of a kind, some would say the life of the party. She never met a stranger and had the biggest heart and hugs. She was willing to help anybody no matter what. Our home was always filled with the kids and their friends, and the yard with their bikes. Our home was always filled with love. She met the love of her life, Jimmy, in August of 1984. They married June 1, 1985. Together they raised four children and a nephew. She was a teacher’s aide with special children, and during that time she was diagnosed with cancer, but being the fighter that she was, she beat it. She then worked as the Curriculum Secretary until 2006. She then moved to Hermleigh, TX, and became the manager of American Legion Post. She loved her veterans until she became disabled. But the people she loved most with all of her heart was her husband, four kids, 14 grandkids, 5 great grand kids, and her puppy Little Bit. They were her world, and in return she will be deeply missed by all.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Ragland, Hermleigh, TX; 2 daughters, Brandy and husband Phillip Mann, League City, TX and Amber and husband Michael Eneks, Deer Park, TX; 2 sons, Wesley and wife Traci Collins, Baytown, TX and Sam Shaver, Sheridan, TX; father, V.L.
