Kathleen Bunn Franklin, 93, of Pearland, Texas, passed away on January 30, 2016. She was born in Dallas, Texas on December 20, 1922 to Martin and Fannie Bunn. She was married to Ocy Franklin, Sr. for 64 years. Kathleen had a career as a bookkeeper for numerous Houston car dealerships and then in the nursing field for Clear Lake Hospital. She was a member of Pearland VFW Post 7109 – Ladies Auxiliary and had a passion for bingo, card games, dominoes and fishing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ocy; son, Ocy, Jr.; sister, Dorothy; grandson, Doug; and daughter-in-law, Karen. Kathleen is survived by her son, Mike; daughter Janis and wife Patti; 6 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home.
