Kelly Dean Whalen

Kelly was born to William T. and Rose Whalen, September 13, 1960, in Russell, Kentucky.

He graduated from Russell High School in 1978.

He married Debi Whalen 41 years ago in 1983, and lived together in Houston & Alvin, Texas.

He is survived by; his wife, Debi Whalen, sons, William J. Whalen (Spouse Carly), Kelly Whalen II (Spouse Jamie), Jacob Terry (Spouse Carly). He also leaves to cherish his memory siblings Michael Whalen and William Whalen, (Grandchildren) Ethan Whalen, Riley Whalen, Orion Whalen, Konor Whalen, Harper Whalen, K.J. Whalen, Carly Terry, Kimber Terry, and many nieces, nephews & family friends.

He was preceded in death by; William T. Whalen, (father), Rose Whalen, (mother), and Maggie Whalen, (sister).

Kelly worked as a Control System Specialist for LyondellBasell Industries for 30 years. He enjoyed reading, fishing, Sudoku, and spending time with family.

A Memorial is scheduled for February 24, 2024, 10:00 AM at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, TX 77598.

A reception will follow in the reception hall of Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, TX 77598.

Doris Linton will officiate the ceremony.
