Lea Brown, 85, of Houston, TX passed away on May 30, 2016. Lea was born on June 8, 1931. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, one brother, and one step-son. She is survived by her husband Cliff Brown, three sons, two daughters, six grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many extended family members and friends. Lea grew up in McComb, Mississippi and later moved to Houston, Texas where she met and married the love of her life, Cliff Brown. She will be remembered for her beauty, kindness, and strength of character. Lea's favorite roles in life were being a wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Two of Lea's favorite hobbies were world travel and ballroom dancing.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Forest Park East Funeral Home and Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598. The service celebrating Lea's life will be held in the chapel at Forest Park East Funeral Home, on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow immediately at Forest Park East Cemetery.
