Leticia was fiercely dedicated and a loyal mother raising three daughters; Sonya R. Chavez, Samantha R. Burnette and Savannah R. Salas. She also was the best grandmother to her two boys Bradley M. Tinsley and Liam A. Burnette who she spoiled every chance she got.
Leticia was our biggest cheerleader and our constant supporter. Our family would not be where it is today if we didn’t have Leticia as a mother.
Our mother was kind, caring and a giving person who always put the needs of her family before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. Our mother was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by whose lives she touched. Our mother was always our shoulder to cry on when needed and instilled in us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right.
Leticia enjoyed trying new and different cultural foods. Growing up our mother enjoyed cooking and taught us the many family recipes that had been passed down to her from her parents, one of our favorites were the tamales. She loved going on cruises and exploring the world. She recently had returned from one visiting Jamaica. Leticia enjoyed visiting the many casinos the United States had to offer and of course all the winnings she got. Saying she enjoyed traveling is an understatement. She was full of love, life and courage.
Mother, you will always be in our hearts and we will never forget you. We love you so much. Rest in peace our angel.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.ForestParkEast-FHC.com for the Salas family.
