

Linda Sue Young, beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, Sister-in-Law, Aunt, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and friend was called home to be with our Lord January 1, 2013. Born in Beaumont, Texas on September 14, 1943, she was preceded in death by her Mother and Father, Alydia and Robert Boutte, her husband of 48 years, Charles (Chuck) Young Sr. and three of her sisters, Pearl Sigur, Shirley Twing and Wilma Sigur. She will be dearly missed by her sister, Joy Curry and husband Wally, her son Chuck Young, Jr. and wife Stephanie, her daughters Lisa Butcher, Michelle Fuller and husband Barry, her grandchildren Amber, Kayla, Aaron, Shayla and Hope Young, Wesley and Chelsea Tatom, Logan Butcher, Brad Fuller and wife Teresa, Brady and Shauna and Mandi Fuller and her Great Grandchildren, Keirstan Fuller, Rian Robertson, Aubrey Krenek, Landyn Young and Averie Rachelle as well as many other nieces and nephews who filled her life with their love. As a young child, Linda’s father was a carpenter and performed construction all over the world. She rode on the Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth and the USS America. When she was a teenager, she was in the movie “It Happened at the Worlds Fair” with Elvis Presley. Her bright light spread the joy of the Lord wherever she went with her big smile and, of course, a great hug. A memorial service will be held Monday, January 7, 2013 at 6:00pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home in League City, Texas.
This is the day the Lord hath made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.
