Louise Tompkins passed away peacefully on December 2, 2011 at the age of 81. She was born in Nacogdoches, Texas on December 21, 1929. Louise loved to go shopping, along with a little gambling, but most of all she loved cooking for her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her loving husband David Paul Tompkins and son Michael Sims. Louise is survived by her two daughters Felicia Harper and Prisca Tompkins; grandchildren Andrew, Amanda, Amber, Daniel, Cristie, Sabrina, Tracy, Stacey, Micheal, Nicki and Krystal; along with many great grandchildren. Her memory will remain in our hearts and our thoughts and she will be greatly missed. The family will be accepting guests Monday, December 5, 2011 from 5pm to 7pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home. A service will be held in Louise’s honor on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 10am in the chapel at Forest Park East with interment to follow in Forest Park East Cemetery.
