She was born on January 22, 1928 to Hannah and Michael Madden who were living in the Bronx, New York.
Mary had two sisters (Ann and Peggy) and one brother (John). When she was ten years old her family moved to Long Island, New York. Mary lived there until she met and married the love of her life, Ralph Ehntholt Sr. in 1949.
Ralph served in The United States Army for twenty years; they traveled far and wide; including Germany and Okinawa. They had two sons, Dennis and Ralph Jr. In 2001, after 52 years of marriage Ralph went home to the Lord.
Mary was very active in St. Luke’s the Evangelist Catholic Church. Mary received certification as a Diocesan Spiritual Director. She counseled numerous parish members in practical ways to strengthen their spiritual relationships with the Lord and one of her favorite sayings was, “Yea God!”.
Mary (Mimi) Ehntholt will be deeply missed by family and friends. She is survived by her two sons and their wives, Dennis and Carla Jo Ehntholt and Ralph and Mary Anne Ehntholt. She is also survived by her five Grandchildren Timothy, Isaiah, Christina, Elizabeth and Justin. She was also a proud Great-Grandmother to Amber, Ryan, Jeremy, Gunnar, Collin, Ruby and Anna.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.ForestParkEast-FHC.com for the Ehntholt family.
