Melissa Eleanora Crawford

Melissa Eleanora Crawford, 66, of Dickinson, departed this world on January 18th after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on May 1st, 1958, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, to Jack and June Frisbey, she moved to Texas during her childhood, which she called home for most of her life.

Melissa was a beloved daughter, mother, and grandmother who cherished time spent with her family. As an interior designer, Melissa's talent brightened countless homes. She loved singing Linda Ronstadt tunes, enjoying family trips to the mountains, and soaking up the sun at the beach.

A passionate sports fan, she cheered her Astros and Rockets, and loved watching games with her family. She delighted in playing video games with her grandchildren and immersing herself in great science-fiction and fantasy stories. Her warmth, kindness, and love will forever be missed by her family.

Melissa was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Michael Frisbey. She leaves behind her daughter, April Crawford and husband, Kelby Roberts; grandchildren Ethan, Owen, and Ava Roberts; her brothers Jack and his wife, Alexis Frisbey, and David and his wife, Randy Frisbey; as well as her cherished nieces and nephews: Joshua Frisbey and family, David Michael Frisbey and family, Rachael Godfrey and family, Megan Nicholson and family, Michelle Frisbey, Jay Frisbey, and Brett Frisbey.
