

Morris Lynn Adams, 89 of Conroe, Texas passed away surrounded by his family and entered his heavenly home on October 19, 2022. Morris was born September 23, 1933 in Texarkana, Texas to Arlis Leon Adams and Edna Jewel Stacks. He was married to Mozelle Lee Adams for 65 years (1 month short of their 66th anniversary). He graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Technology/Engineering and worked in the Oil/Petroleum industry for over 35 years with major companies including Dresser, Creole, Philips and finally Conoco/Philips in sites all over the world. He was sought after for his expertise in Instrumentation.
Morris was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard and involved in several civic and professional organizations including University of Houston Frontier Fiesta Committee, Member of the Tau Kappa Sigma Fraternity, Scouting, PTA, Coaching Little League, President of Freeway American Little League, Officer of Freeway Oaks Civic Club, member of St. Christopher Catholic Church (and several Catholic Churches in various countries) where he volunteered on several projects and committees.
Morris loved sports playing football for both Galveston Ball High School (Champion Season) and Delmar College. After college, he was a member of several bowling and golf leagues, loved to tinker in his garage, research/purchase the latest electronic gadget and travel with his wife and family. He was also an outdoor Christmas decoration enthusiast. Winning several decorating contests at both his Houston and Conroe residences.
He is proceeded in death by his father Arlis (Leon), stepfather Harry Anderson, mother, Jewel Anderson and his sister, Joyce Adams Evans. He is survived by his loving wife, Mozelle Adams, daughter Kimberly Adams Montgomery, son Randy Adams (wife Lara), grandchildren Christopher Farrell, Ryan Farrell (wife Marie), Emily Adams and Abigail Adams as well as numerous nieces and nephews who meant the world to him.

A visitation for Morris will be held Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. A funeral service will occur Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 2:00 PM, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. A committal service will occur Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598.
