

Nancy Laura Sims Arnold was the fourth child born to Virgil F and Bessie Inez Sims on October 15, 1923 in Corbin, KY. The family moved to Houston when Nancy was 6 years old. She joined and was baptized at Central Methodist Church. She later transferred to First Methodist Church where she joined the Fidelis Class and was a member for 58 years. Nancy moved to Friendswood to be closer to her family and joined Friendwood United Methodist Church where she joined the Friendship Class. She lived what she called "THE ABUNDANT LIFE"
Retired from the United States Attorney's office after 28 years. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Eugene Fields Arnold, stepdaughter Betty Low Ivy and stepson Billie G. Arnold. She is survived by her step-grandson Chris Ivy and his wife Kay, their children Audrey and Ethan. Step-grandson Weber Ivy. Her nephew, Max Pugh and his wife Billie, great nieces Susan Love and her husband Mike, Sandra Pugh and Scott Phillips. Great nephew John Pugh and Pam Fisher. Great great niece Robyn K. Najera and her husband Adam, great great nephew Ross Love and his wife Ashley. Great, great, great nieces Reagan Elizabeth Najera and Emelia Claire Najera. Great, great, great nephew Aden J Love. Her friend and caregiver Sylvia Botello.
She lived her life for the Lord. We will miss YOU Aunt Nancy!
Graveside Service will be held Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Forest Park Lawndale 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
