

Noah Richard Bledsoe, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away on December 29, 2014 at home. Mr. Bledsoe was born April 6, 1935 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Richard Law Bledsoe and Louise Bledsoe. He graduated from Dickinson High School then joined the Navy. After 5 years in the Navy Sea Bees he married Barbara Holland on September 4, 1959 and they made their home in Dickinson, Texas. He went to work for Santa Fe Railroad from September of 1959 to September of 1963 when he went to work for Monsanto Chemical Company. He worked there until December of 1985 when he retired. After four years of retirement, he went to work for the Dickinson Independent School District and retired once again in March of 2000. He loved working with wood, making many beautiful clocks which he gave to friends and family members. He loved to camp with the Lone Star Caravaners Camping Club.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father as well as his grandmother, Josephine Besson.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 55 years, his sons Richard Wayne Bledsoe and his wife, Susan, and Teague Allen Bledsoe and his wife, Terri, and his grandchildren Richard Joseph Bledsoe and his wife, Michelle, Sarah Elizabeth Bledsoe and Margaret (Maggie) Bledsoe. He is also survived by his brothers Vincent Bledsoe and his wife, Teresa, and Frank Bledsoe in addition to numerous nieces and nephews and very special friends.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks for the excellent care given by Vitas Hospice Services.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Perthuis, Byron Holley, Paul Barron, John Walker, James Williford and Frank Krizan.
The family will receive visitors on Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 3-5 pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home Chapel, Webster, TX. Funeral services will be Monday, January 5, 2015 at 12:30 pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home Chapel in Webster, TX. The Reverend Danny Barrett will be officiating.
