

He enjoyed science and math throughout his life and first put his talents to work while studying and then graduating from Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL with degrees in both physics and math. He was very gifted technically and worked with computers for many years, eventually retiring from Bank of America in Charlotte, North Carolina, in 2013.
Norman was preceded in death by his parents, Norman L. Rheaume, Sr., Frieda Chagaradas Rheaume, and a younger brother, Gregory Rheaume.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Cathy Diehl Rheaume; his children, Norman Lionel Rheaume III and Stephanie Rheaume Mitzner; and his son-in-law, Michael Jerry Mitzner Sr. Norman is also survived by three siblings: Russell Rheaume, Alexander Rheaume, and Vicki Rheaume Di Lorenzo. He has four grandchildren: Claire Rheaume, Michael Mitzner II, Matthew Mitzner, and Sophia Mitzner.
Norman received many awards and accolades for his computer work over the years, as well as for his charity work. He enjoyed fishing, airplane and railroad modeling, playing chess, and making purchases from Amazon! He was a lifetime member of the Order of Incas Mardi Gras Association in Mobile, Alabama, where he paraded for many years. Norman leaves behind beloved family and cherished friends from all of his endeavors. No arrangements are scheduled for a service or memorial at this time.
