Mami has a special place in my heart forever. She became my 2nd mother since 6th grade when I knocked on her door at Calder Square apts to see if I could hang out with Lisa.
Lots of sleepovers, laughter, love and hugs at their home.
She has been a part of every milestone in my life, from weddings to the birth of my children.
You will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing you
... I love you, Mami ❤
Love always,
Your 'love',
La Crassa 💕

I’ll miss my sister very much. I would call her daily and sometimes she would say “can’t talk right now I am watching my novelas” 😆. Oh how we loved our novelas
and discussing what we saw. She always told me how proud she was of her children and grand children and was excited to attend Jordan’s high school graduation. I know how special this day was to her.

She had her good and bad days but she decided to take it one day at a time and live her best life. I will always admire her for that.

Mrs. Nuvia was the type of person who left a piece of her heart with everyone she met. I am blessed to call her my penpal, my friend. It was through her that I learned that a small act of kindness from someone you didn’t know can flourish into a beautiful friendship. Through her words of wisdom in our letters I learned that even when life gets tough we need to smile, love hard, FIGHT and stay positive! Her memory and life lessons will live in my heart and continue to shape my life forever.
To the Murillo, Boothe and Simons family I pray that Our Lord grants you peace and comfort in knowing that Ms. Nuvia was loved beyond measure and that her legacy will live on in all of you and all of us who were blessed with her beautiful friendship.

Tia, thank you so much for being such a big part of my upbringing. Endless summers in Texas, crabbing in that small lake in the back of the old house and fun filled holidays spent with you and the rest of our family. Just as important, how proud I was to dance with my aunt in my mother’s stead for my wedding, words cannot express how much that meant to me. I will carry all these wonderful memories for the rest of my life and I thank you for them! We can take comfort in knowing that you are with grandma and grandpa and the rest of our dearly departed, surrounded by unconditional love. You are loved and you will be greatly missed! Your loving nephew Ryan, and the rest of the Howell family.

My Tia Nuvia was such a big part of my life growing up . I would spend summers with her and my cousins and uncle in Texas . She always made me feel like another daughter . Tia was very kind and attentive with her family .
Another thing that always stood out for me was her relationship with my Tio. They were so loving to eachother and had such a balance in there life. I swear I can hear her calling out to him in my head “Negro!”
She raised 2 amazing daughters who Im lucky to call my cousins ...
She will be missed terribly but I’m so blessed to have had so many memories with her .
My love and prayers are with all our family during this time . Love you all❤️

My Tia Nuvia was very special to me.
She was not only my aunt, but also my godmother. She always thought of me no matter what she was facing or how she was feeling, because that was how remarkable she was. When we talked on the phone, she always began each conversation with “Hi Love” and ended each conversation with “I Love You.”
I feel blessed and grateful to have had such a special bond and I will hold her memory in my heart always.
