Olga Garza Herrera

She was born to Sarita Kenedy Garza and Pablo Salinas Garza on November 8, 1950 in Alice, Texas.

She was married to Juan B. Herrera Jr. and had three children.

She was a supportive, fun and wonderful God fearing lady who loved to laugh and shower her family and friends with love.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Berta K. Garza and her brother Rogelio K. Garza.

As she journeys to her eternal home, she leaves to rejoice in her memories, her husband of 46 years, Juan B. Herrera Jr., her daughter Delma Lamar Gonzalez and husband Carlos J. Gonzalez, of Santa Fe, TX, her son James Aaron Herrera and wife Letisha Herrera, of Friendswood, TX, and her son Trae (Juan B., III) Herrera and wife Candice Herrera, of Santa Fe, TX, seven grandchildren; Destiny Christine Herrera, Sarita Kenedy Gonzalez, Adrian Carlos Gonzalez, David Bryce Dowdy, Aiden Juan Herrera, Maximiliano Aaron Herrera and Sophia Isabel Herrera; her brother Pablo Garza, Jr., her brother José A. Garza and her sister Elma Garza; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at noon on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Trinity Baptist Church, 2220 29th St. N. Texas City, Texas, with funeral services following at 1:00 pm. Services will be officiated by Pastor and longtime family friend, Brother Ronnie P. Mills. She will be laid to rest at Forest Park East in Webster, Texas. Pallbearers are Adrian Gonzalez, Bryce Dowdy, Robert Garza, Rogelio Garza, Jr., José A. Garza, Jr., and Joe Culpepper. Honorary pallbearers are Aiden Herrera and Maximiliano Herrera.
