Patricia Fay Bradshaw was born December 10th, 1928 in Dallas, Texas to parents Fay and E.G. Spencer. She was raised in Houston where she graduated from Lamar high school. She then went on to graduate from the University of Texas at Austin where she was a member of the Chi Omega sorority. She lovingly raised three children; Jackie Bynum, Linda Balzarett and Patrick Murphy. She also has 8 wonderful grandchildren; Clay, Myranda, Tannah, Eli, Bonnie, Brady, Kelly and Molly, and 2 great grandchildren, Saranya and Weston. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Bob Bradshaw, her daughter Linda, her parents, and her sister Joy. Patricia was active in many churches over the years, participating most often in the music ministry during church and outreach ministry outside of church. Jesus was the focus of her life. She loved music and worship, beautiful plants, and her adoring family.
In her 20's, Pat traveled extensively and owned and managed her own coffee vending machine business called Kwik Kafe. In her 30's, she bore and raised her children in the NASA area during the exciting early years of the space age. In her 40's, she accepted Jesus as her savior and her life was never the same. She began a lifelong pursuit of trying to share Jesus and his salvation message with as many people as possible while also helping lead the youth group at her family’s church. In her 50's, she continued her outreach including a famous Thursday night youth meeting in her home. It changed the lives of so many. At least 3 pastors developed out of those meetings in addition to many lives saved for Christ. In her 60's, she moved to the hill country and married the great love of her life, Bob Bradshaw. In her 70's, she relocated back to Houston to be close to all of her grandchildren and remained very active in her local church with church events and outreach as well as playing the piano for the worship team. Throughout her 80’s life slowed down, but not her activity in caring for her family, sharing the love of Jesus, and continuing to learn and grow as a person remained.
At 91 years Patricia went home to be with Jesus, her daughter Linda, husband Bob Bradshaw and a host of loved ones on December 24, 2019. This beautiful person is irreplaceable and we will miss her more than words can say, but we know this was no doubt her best Christmas ever as she shared it with her loving Savior, Jesus Christ in heaven.
