

Born and raised in North Adams, Massachusetts to James and Gladys Horan on July 22, 1933. Pat was the oldest of 7 children. She lived in North Adams until 1958 when she relocated to Galveston. She was married to Robert Hope on February 5th, 1959. They had 3 children and 4 grandsons. Pat dedicated her life to her family and faith. She was active in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, often times working the Bingo booth. After not being able to attend church in person she enjoyed watching online. When her children were young, she was active in PTA and spent time volunteering at the schools. She worked for the School District, a private concrete company and for the Law Office of Marvin Radar and Larry Fuhr.
Pat loved children and spent many hours babysitting starting at young age, continuing with her Grandsons. She loved to sew and knit making her daughters outfits when they were young and afghans for numerous people. She also enjoyed cross stitch and needle point.
She will be deeply missed by her 3 children Susan Hope, Chris (Maggie) Hope, Heather (Richard) Hailey; grandsons Robert (Bob) Hailey, Andrew Brim, Matthew Hailey and Robert (Robbie) Hope; her siblings Dan (Carol) Horan, Lee (Gene) Scarbo, James (Janet) Horan, and Flossie Alderman; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and several lifelong friends.
She was preceded in death by her Mother and Father, her beloved husband, Robert (Bob) Hope, brother Michael Horan, sister, Alice Trimble and her dear friend Don Wingerson.
