

Born in Los Fresnos, Texas, he was the 11th of 12 children to Pedro C. and Angela Treviño. Pete was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Antonio, Horacio, and Rafael; and his sisters Maria Elena and Hortencia.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Linda; his son Pedro Treviño III and wife Cheryl; his daughter Sonia; and his adored grandsons Ashton and Brandon. He also leaves behind his siblings Juan (Cathy), Gilbert (Francis), Antonia, Guadalupe, Concepción, and Maria Carmen, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
Family was the heart of Pete’s life. He found his greatest joy in the company of those he loved. Whether he was barbecuing in the backyard, relaxing with a fishing pole and a beer in hand, or cheering on his favorite football or baseball teams, he made every moment count.
He spent many years working as a shipyard worker in the Seabrook/Kemah area, where he earned the respect of coworkers and made countless lifelong friends. Known for his warmth, humor, and generous spirit, he was a cherished member of the community.
His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He was a man who lived simply, loved deeply, and left a mark on everyone fortunate enough to call him family or friend.
A visitation for Pedro will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home, located at 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598, on July 3, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm.
A graveside service will take place at Forest Park East Funeral Home on July 3, 2025, from 3:00 pm.
