Randall A Garcia

Randy was born on September 15, 1960, son of the late Raymond S. Garcia and Beatrice Garcia-Lopez.

He graduated from the Michael E. Debakey High School for Health Professions (’79) where he was the Senior Class President. He was a UHCL alumni, graduating with a Bachelors in Finance (’88), and an MBA (’96) and MHA (’12). He served on the Alumni Partnership Executive Board as well as the Healthcare Administration Alumni Steering Committee. His hobbies included outdoor activities, staying active, traveling the world, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his mother Beatrice, his son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Anna Garcia, his grandchildren, Marc, Ryan Jr, Ileana, and Juliana Garcia. He is also survived by his three brothers, Roderick, his wife Jana, Raymond, his wife Joni, and Reuben and his wife Andrea Garcia, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Ileana Garcia, his father, and all of his grandparents.

His service will be held at Forest Park East, which is located at 21620 Gulf Fwy., Webster, TX 77598 on Sept. 4th at 2pm, with visitation starting at 12pm. We ask for privacy and understanding as we would like to keep this small and inclusive of immediate family to limit the spread of COVID-19. If you have any questions about attending his service, please reach out to the family prior. There will be a virtual viewing if you wish to participate in lieu of being there in person. His family has also set up a GoFundMe to settle all hospital and funeral expenses.
