Raymond enjoyed spending time outside relaxing on the patio, he loved spending time with the grandchildren and loved watching the Astros play.

He is preceded in death by wife, Valentina Martinez; father, Nieves Martinez; mother, Maria Cruz Martinez, grandson, Richard Martinez Jr., siblings, John, Phillip, Nieves, David, Calintro, Herman, Amelia.

He is survived by sons, Richard Martinez, Alex Martinez, Ramon Martinez and wife Cindy, Edward Martinez and wife Rebecca; grandchildren, Melissa Moncier and husband Jason, Alexander Martinez and wife Kimberly, Raymond Martinez III, Brittany Fearrington and husband J.R.,Demi Foreman and husband Matthew, Lauren Martinez, Alexis Martinez, Andrew Martinez, Alyssa Martinez; great-grandchildren, Alana Franco, Matthew Franco, Haley Martinez, Ellie Martinez, Hayden Wilson, Charlie Wilson, Coleman Reed and Colton Martinez.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. South Main Baptist Church, 4300 E Sam Houston Parkway South, Pasadena, Texas 77505. Funeral Service to follow at 10:00 a.m. at South Main Baptist Church, 4300 E Sam Houston Parkway South, Pasadena, Texas 77505. Interment to follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.
