Rick Hilton, a cherished and devoted individual, passed away on December 26, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on August 20, 1952, Rick was a resident of Dickinson, Texas, where he was known for his humorous nature and dedication to his family and community.
Rick served as a Master Peace Officer for 31 years, contributing his skills and commitment to the Jacinto City and La Porte Police Departments. His career was marked by a steadfast dedication to public service and safety.
In his personal life, Rick enjoyed fishing and hunting, pastimes that brought him joy and relaxation. He was a member Crossroads Church and was also member of Dominion Church, where he engaged with his community and shared his time and talents.
Rick is survived by his beloved wife, Judy Hilton; his daughters, Tonya Spencer (Dean) and Misty Hatten (Isiah); his granddaughter, Andrea Castillo; his sister, Elizabeth Patton; his brothers, James Thomas Gilliam (Colleen), Billy Pilcher, and Robert Pilcher; and his sister, Tammy Pilcher. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Exie Leach, and his parents, Dewey Hilton and Edna Hilton Fry.
The visitation will be held on January 3, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home, located at 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598. The funeral service will follow at the same location, starting at 2:00 pm, with the committal service commencing at 3:00 pm.
