Robert D. "Bob" Isaacson

Robert D. “Bob” Isaacson, 74, of Friendswood, Texas, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015. He was born in Houston, Texas on March 6, 1941 to Donald H. Isaacson and Loraine Reynolds. Bob graduated from San Jacinto High School in Houston, Texas in 1959 and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Texas A&M University in 1963. He was married to Marilyn Isaacson on November 29, 1963. They were members of Providential Baptist Church in Pearland, Texas. Bob had a career in insurance for Foremost. He was currently the President of San Jacinto High School Alumni Association and had a passion for the Lord, playing golf, fishing, Texas A&M University and his family. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Isaacson; son Marc Isaacson and his wife Cherry and her three children Randa, Tyler, and Trina; daughter Christy Williamson and husband Charlie of Friendswood; grandchildren Matt Isaacson and wife Rachelle, Amy Isaacson, Kimberly Isaacson, Caitlyn Williamson, and Cody Williamson; three great-grandchildren; brother John Henry “Jack” Isaacson and wife Barbara of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and nieces Lisa Orme and Janna Gillard. A visitation will be held Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home. The celebration of Bob’s life will be held Friday, June 5, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home with interment to immediately follow in Forest Park East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made at any Wells Fargo location in memory of Robert Isaacson. Proceeds will go to the Providential Baptists Church and the San Jacinto High School Alumni Association.
