Rosemary was born, raised and live her entire life in and around the Houston area. She was full of life and enjoyed watching and following the Astros and the Texans – and she was never short of advice on how they could improve their game! Her love of sports came from enjoying the games with her husband of 34 years, Clyde, who preceded her in death three years ago. She was also an avid player of dominoes and developed cherished friendships with several of the ladies at Brookdale Senior Living in Webster, TX, where she lived since Clyde’s passing,
Born during the Great Depression and of modest means, Rosemary was no stranger to tough times, which undoubtedly played a significant role in shaping her determination and commitment to setting goals and working hard. She was a dedicated daughter to her aging parents and mother to three children--Randy, Kenny and Nancy. Rosemary was extremely proud of her 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, and she enjoyed nothing better than spending time with them.
Rosemary was a person of strong faith in her Lord and was prepared for what lies ahead. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ruth Lawler, her brothers, A.C. and Marvin Lawler, her sister, Norma Lawler, and her husband, Clyde McClain.
Mom, we love you and are proud of you. We will miss you greatly, but we know that one day we will see you again!
