Ruby Barosh

Rudy Lee Fehner Barosh of League City, TX, passed away October 5, 2012, in Alvin, TX. She was born at home near Cheapside, TX on August 26, 1924. Ruby attended school in Cheapside and was married to Lawrence Barosh on June 22, 1946.

She worked in her home as mother & wife for many years. As young children were the light of her life, Ruby was employed 7 years at Kindercare in League City. She was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church and participated with the church’s Craft group for many years. Ruby found great joy in creating unique & beautiful crafts for her family, friends and for the church’s annual craft sale.

Ruby is survived by her brother James Fehner of Gonzales; son Roger & wife Vicki, daughter Linda & husband George, & son Kenneth; grandchildren: Christopher Barosh, Susan Gist, Kevin Keister, Westly Keister, Ashley Barosh, Rachel Barosh, and Benjamin Barosh; five great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Ruby was preceded in death by Lawrence Barosh, her husband of 58 years; her parents Adolph & Erna Fehner; and her sister Joyce Meyer.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 9 from 6 to 8 pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy Webster, Tx 77598. Funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at Alvin Lutheran Church, 1800 FM 1462, Alvin, TX, with Pastor Elizabeth Stein officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
