Ruby Carline Herring

Kathy worked for Stern Empire as a driver for 30 years, driving all over Southeast Texas.

She retired Dec. 31st of 2009 but could not stay unemployed and worked part time for Coleman Dental Lab in Pasadena Texas, She worked till 2013 when the economy downturn caused them to not require a part time driver.

Kathy was a loving mother, daughter and grandmother. She enjoyed helping and giving to all her family and friends any time they were in need. Her dogs were her babies and she loved them with all her heart.

She is survived by her son Michael Herring and his wife Kim Herring, her daughter Patti Clegg and her husband Jeffrey Zogg, nephews Jody and Johnny Miller, daughter-in-law Elizabeth Herring, grandchildren Julie Elizabeth Cain, Tiffany Renee, Cory Blaine, Bradley Allen Herring, Christopher Clegg and his wife Brittani, Justin Lee Hunter and his wife Charity Leighanne Hunter, Joseph Stevens, Julie Ann Hunter; great-grandchild, Austin Lee Hunter.

Preceded in death by her mother and father, Ruby Lefeyette and Ponder King Waller; sister and brother-in-law, Lovinia "Boots" and John Miller, daughter Carol Denise "Dee Dee" Montoglego and Cheryl Renee Herring; grandson Zachary Montoglego; and great-grandson Colton Lee Clegg.

A visitation will be held Monday, February 23, 2015 from 11:30 - 12:30 at Forest Park East Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 12:30 p.m. with interment to follow in Forest Park East Cemetery.
