

Sandra K. Weyer White, 69, of League City, Texas passed away April 19, 2016. She was born in Deer River, Minnesota, on March 30, 1947 to Vern Weyer & Olive Camp Weyer. She was a devoted, loving wife and friend to her husband, Lamont C White, for 47 years. Sandy, as she was known to her family and friends, loved being a mother and so enjoyed family. Along with her husband they raised three children and have enjoyed watching their family grow to fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Sandy worked for eighteen years as a Baker/Bakery Supervisor for the food service contractors at UTMB hospitals in Galveston, Texas before health problems forced her to retire in 2010. Sandy had a natural talent for all types of arts and crafts, decorating her home with her creations and sharing them with family and friends. She had a love for cooking, baking, cake decorating and holiday entertaining.
Sandy lost her 10 year battle with emphysema and eleven month battle with ovarian cancer. I lost my best friend in the world. Friends and relatives lost a sweet, funny, caring lady. Sandy you will be missed, never forgotten and loved forever.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her sister, Ollie Richer and brother, Joel Weyer.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Lamont White; brother, Eugene Weyer; two daughters, Wendy J. West Shoup and husband Mike and Shelly R. White Crow and husband Dwayne; son, Donald W. (Bill) West; and fifteen grandchildren. She was known as Best Grandma to Laura and Brennan Shelby; Mama to Tommy Kaiser and Jessica Shoup; and Grandmother to William, Jacinta, Allen, Christina, Erica, Raquel, Charles, Zander & Jeremy West, Shelby Crow and Robyn Benoit. Sandy is also survived by her four great grandchildren; co-worker & friend Janie Garcia; her beagle 'Rascal'; and so many more relatives and friends too numerous to list.
