Shep Sheppard

Shep was married to Virginia Sheppard for 66 years. He spent 4 exciting years in the Navy during WWII Intercepting Japanese transmissions for interpretation. He had a career in sales for IWECO Welding Supply. Shep enjoyed being outdoors and had a passion for gardening and canning figs. Shep was preceded in death by his sister, Naomi Gates; his mother, Ella Sheppard; his father, Elmer Sheppard.

He was survived by his wife, Virginia Sheppard; his children, Teri Rojas, Cindy Huston, Wade Sheppard, and Gary Sheppard; his grandchildren, Melissa Murray, Troy Sheppard, Jonathan Rojas, Tony Huston, Bryan Huston, Nick Sheppard, Chance Sheppard, Christian Sheppard, Jackie Ray Sheppard; his great grandchildren, Lauren Huston, Tyler Huston, Taylor Sheppard, Troy Sheppard, Ty Sheppard, Cooper Murray, Cortney Murray, Carson Murray and Kailey Rojas, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 am on Monday, August 15, 2016 at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598 A celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
