She was born to James and Miriam Simmons on October 23, 1955.
Shirley loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her family. During the holidays if you left hungry it was your own fault. If she was not in the kitchen cooking, you could find her in her chair watching the Hallmark channel or in the garden watering her flowers.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Les; son Les and Angela; daughter Kristen and Ethan; grandchildren Logan, Emma, and Kamlee and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be on Friday, May 5, 2023, from 6-8pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598.
Funeral will be on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 11am at First Baptist Pasadena, 7500 Fairmont Pkwy, Pasadena TX 77505, followed by burial at Forest Park East Funeral Home.
