Sue Harris

Sue was born January 18, 1933 to William and Mary Kaeser in Cincinnati, Ohio. She married Eugene Harris, the love of her life, September 1, 1951. Gene and Sue resided in Cincinnati until September 2004 when they moved to League City, Texas to be close to their children.

She became a Christian at a young age. Sue was involved in many ministries over the years which included teaching Sunday School and volunteering in the nursery. She worked in the secretarial pool at Proctor and Gamble until Gene returned from the Korean War and they started their family. While raising her family she volunteered at school and bowled in a local league.

Sue was devoted to her family. Throughout her life she remained in close contact with them. She never missed sending cards or calling loved ones for special occasions. Even in her final months she would tell us whose birthday or anniversary was next in the family.

Sue was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her children Steve Harris, Kathy Kehr and her husband Paul, grandson Joshua Kehr and his wife Abby.

A visitation for Sue will be held Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 2:00PM to 3:00PM with a Celebration of Life beginning at 3:00PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. Immediately following Sue will be laid to rest at Forest Park East Cemetery.
