Thai David Nguyen

Mr. Thai David Nguyen passed away at the age of 78 on December 11th, 2015. He was born to Mr. and Mrs. Su Nguyen on August 4th, 1937 in Bui Chu, Vietnam. He was a hardworking man. Always willing to help others with dignity and never complained. He is survived by his wife Men Thi Tran of 57 years and 9 Children: Binh, LeThu, Jana Xuan, Tiffany Le, Le Ha Chantal, Viviene Nga, Katherine Thuy, Rick Thanh, and Tina Trang and their families. He was a military serviceman, a translator, a nurse practitioner, a fisherman, and a general contractor. As a nurse practitioner, he received calls at all times whether it's the middle of the night or in a storm. He loved his wife, children, and grandchildren. He fulfilled his wedding vows to take care of his wife in sickness and in health, a husband who always held his wife's hand. Not only did he provide for his family, he lent his support with his presence in many of their activities such as school meetings, sporting events, births, and graduations. His love was unconditional. He used to brave the freezing weather and start the car to warm it up for his children. Not only did he cook delicious meals for his family, he also packed food for them to take home. He had a passion for gardening, creating joyful moments, cooking scrumptious dishes such as "pho, xuon ram, ca kho to", remodeling projects around the homes, and travelling. His greatest passion was to bring joy to everyone who came into his life. He is remembered for his kind and generous heart. His quick wit frequently filled the room with endless laughter. He enjoyed watching football, wrestling and basketball. He was a die-hard Rockets fan. In his spare time he enjoyed reading and spending time with friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. You will forever remain in our hearts. We love you! Rest in peace dad.
