Jo Brents departed to be with her Lord on September 26, 2013 at 5:36 p.m. with her children by her side. She was born May 16, 1943 in Silsbee, Texas. Jo was a loving mother and an exceptional business woman. Her real estate profession spanned over 35 years and she was known in Galveston County as “The House Lady”.
She is survived by her children; daughter, Diana Leigh De Lane and husband, Jason Lee De Lane and son, Dru Brents and wife, Scarlet Brents; four grandchildren, Bailey Jo, John David, Barrett Dru and Torie Anna; two sisters, Connie Hugon and Carol Huval; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 30, 2013 in the Chapel at Forest Park East Funeral Home.
