Bruce was married to Brenda Faye Schaffner for 47 years. He worked as a truck driver before retiring. He had a passion for fishing, model airplanes, and trains, and was a devoted fan of the Broncos football team and the Angels baseball team.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved chihuahua, Pebbles.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Brenda, and their three children, Maile, Kalani, and Leilani. He also leaves behind three grandchildren, Breanna, Jasmine, and Blaise, as well as four great-granddaughters, Kailyn, Mia, Emery, and Lainey, who is on her way.
